Mark Twain had it well sorted when he said that - by what I've heard of heaven and seen of Bermuda, I'd choose the latter too. One of the most beautiful, peaceful places I have ever visited, the islands of Bermuda (181 in all) offer a unique island resort experience with a combination of history, arts, lethal drinks, and pristine beaches. Deeply influenced by it's time as part of the British Empire, Bermuda is filled with fortifications of the Royal navy and offers afternoon tea at most major hotels. 400 years after it's first settlement, this relatively isolated locale in the the mid-Atlantic has developed a uniquely Bermudian flavor.
